The Southern Indiana REALTORS^® Association, "SIRA," is proud of 80 years of providing the finest, state-of-the-art support services available for brokers and agents. The Association originated in 1926 with the New Albany Board of REALTORS^® followed by the Clark County Board of REALTORS^® that was established in 1935. In 1970 the New Albany and Clark County Boards merged to form the Southern Indiana Board of REALTORS^® and 1990 brought the update of changing the name from "board" to "association" to reflect the scope of services and large membership, as the 6th largest REALTOR^® association in Indiana serving Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, Scott, Washington, and many other counties including Louisville and surrounding Kentucky counties.

SIRA prides itself on the efficiency of bringing new products and services to it's members with speed that is unparalleled in the industry. Services and products offered equal or exceed those of other local REALTOR^® Associations with several thousand members. SIRA is all about SERVICE TODAY …not tomorrow, not next week, not next month….TODAY.

SIRA eliminates the bureaucratic structure of other service providers and places the products and services in the hands of the member while others are still in committee and research.

In addition to focusing on same-day delivery, SIRA has been the trendsetter for products and services for all these years and offer services that are not available though other associations, such as 8 hours per year of Free Continuing Education and Free Electronic Keyboxes. REALTOR^® forms are offered to members at discounted prices with all forms available to members 24/7 on www.indianarealtors.com.

Continuing Education, Keyboxes, Keycards, and Forms are among the most required services for everyday needs. SIRA was the first to offer internet MLS in the region from Ohio to Illinois.

The current Rapattoni MLS system is recognized as the leader in MLS systems and utilized throughout the nation. SIRA has provided in excess of 6 hours of free instruction to bring all members to skill levels of serving the most sophisticated client.
